Im Siwan expressed his excitement over ZE:A member Park Hyung Sik’s return from the military. The Run On star shared his thoughts during his recent interview with Sports Chosun and News 1, via Soompi. He said he had anticipated and couldn’t be happier about Park Hyung Sik’s military discharge. Park Hyung Sik left the military on January 4 this year.
Both are members of the KPOP group ZE:A which is also known as “Children of Empire”. And although the group is composed of 9 members, Im Siwan had been very vocal about the fact that among the other members, he is closest and most comfortable with Park Hyung Sik. In his past interviews, the idol-turned-actor admitted that they were drinking buddies and that he goes to karaoke with Park Hyung Sik. He said he finds Park Hyung Sik fun to be with since he can talk about anything with him.
ZE:A, a KPOP boy group under Star Empire Entertainment, debuted last 2010. The group is composed of 9 members namely Im Siwan, Park Hyung Sik, Kevin, Hwang Kwanghee, Lee Hoo, Kim Tae Heon, Jung Heechul, Ha Min Woo, and Kim Dong Jun. The group hasn’t been active since 2017. With the group being on hiatus, members Im Siwan, Park Hyung Sik, and Kim Dong Jun had been active in their respective acting careers.
Im Siwan recently starred in JTBC’s drama Run On with actress Shin Se Kyung. This 16-episode series aired its pilot episode on December 16 last year and ended just this February 4. Im Siwan played the role of Ki Seon Gyeom, a former track and field athlete who found love in the form of Oh Mi Joo, a film translator, which was played by Shin Se Kyung.
