A dog from Lehmrade, Germany has learned to help out with her family’s chores which includes putting away dishes in the dishwasher. Wait, what? I guess you can teach dogs anything!

Amelie, a seven-year-old German Pinscher dog, is the star of her family’s Instagram account. This is one of the more impressive tricks she’s done this month. When interviewed by Storyful, her father Luca Neumman said:

“We started to train her tricks when she was two years old, which means that she learned a lot. There’re some tricks which took really a long time to teach her, but this one with the dishes was quite easy for her to understand.”

Himalayan Glacier Destroys Rishiganga Hydroelectric Dam in India (Video)

A part of a Himalayan glacier broke off in Northern India triggering an avalanche which destroyed a hydroelectric dam on Sunday. Video of the destruction and rescue efforts emerged on social media as at least 200 people are missing.

According toNPR the area is prone to landslides and flooding and it’s dangerous to build a dam there:

The disaster began around 10:45 a.m. local time when part of the Nanda Devi glacier broke off in an ecologically fragile area of Uttarakhand, an Indian state wedged between Nepal and China, high in the Himalayas. Environmentalists have long cautioned against building dams and power plants there, because it’s so prone to landslides and flooding.
